Robert Leicht

Robert Leicht is an associate professor in – and proud graduate of – the Department of Architectural Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. An expert in Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms, his primary research interest is in new delivery methods. He is widely published in academic journals and has led studies that seek to capture the impact of technology integration on project success.

Dr. Leicht has been active in CII for the last decade, serving as a principal investigator on several major CII research projects whose topics included Optimal Owner Team Organization, Future Construction Needs of Virtual Design Models, and the Smart Model-centric Life Cycle Approach to Collaborative Execution of Capital Projects. Additionally, he has served on the Funded Studies Committee and previously belonged to the Academic Committee.
