CII is proud to recognize Tedd Weitzman with Worley as the recipient of the James P. Porter Jr. Award for Technology Leadership. Tedd has been an influential leader within CII for many years, demonstrating unwavering commitment to advancing the institute’s research initiatives and serving as a key contributor to the Technology Committee.

Before joining CII’s leadership ranks, Tedd played an instrumental role in Fiatech and helped guide its successful merger into CII—strengthening the organization’s collective impact on industry innovation. A dedicated technologist and advocate for progress, Tedd is widely respected for his ability to minimize risks, increase efficiencies, and champion technology-driven solutions.

Driving Digital Transformation in Project Execution: Among his many contributions, Tedd led the effort to bring the CII AWP Data Requirements into publication, a milestone that has attracted significant industry attention. This important work lays the foundation for true digital project execution aligned with the Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology—advancing how the industry plans, executes, and delivers capital projects.
