Brian Welsey

Brian Welsey is the Vice President of Operations Support at United E&C. A founding member company of CII, United was formerly AECOM, URS, Washington Group, and Raytheon, and Brian has served on the CII Board of Advisors representing several of these companies. At United today, he oversees utility and industrial power and energy business.

Welsey is a leader in CII’s Funded Studies. He has participated in several CII research teams and the Funded Studies Committee, but his signal contribution could be his commitment to reviewing CII publications. When the Product Review Board dissolved several years ago, member Brian continued to volunteer by reading research submittals in a less-formal capacity.

CII is lucky to have had Brian on the team for so many years. We appreciate everything he does for CII and are delighted to present him with the Outstanding Volunteer Award.
