Description The Voice of the Craft Worker (VOW) tool is a server-based piece of software that can be used at the project site to allow craft workers the chance to make input on various productivity factors that may be having a negative impact during the project. The tool also allows workers to make suggestions on how to improve productivity. If desired, the tool can be converted to a paper-based system from the current server-based method.
This software tool, available only via download, comes with an electronic publication that serves as a guide on how to use the VOW tool. Installation requires basic familiarity with Apache and MySQL. Successful installation requires custom settings found in the installation instructions (PDF file).

Description Compact Disc and User Guide
This CD tool offers an off-the-shelf method and a custom-tailored approach to measure engineering productivity. Helps in establishing an engineering productivity baseline, but the user organization must already have good records of design hours per discipline and physical quantities installed for capital projects. The analyses can be shared across organizations, and new methods to improve projects can be validated and compared.
Due to the large size of the files (58MB), download may take some time.
