The Construction Industry Institute (CII) Strategic Plan provides operating principles and strategic direction to CII. Included in the plan are the vision, mission, guiding principles, and distinctive core competencies of CII as well as the strategic directions and strategies to guide CII activities.

The Strategic Plan is designed as a guide to achieve the CII mission. The plan, which will be reviewed annually to assure that it remains timely and accurate, will be updated or revised as necessary.

The CII Governance Plan relates to the Board of Advisors—its organization, functions, and activities. It is not intended to prescribe activities or decisions that are the prerogative of the Director and The University of Texas at Austin or to preclude the Board’s right to deviate from the plan.

The CII Governance Plan is intended to provide a general format and, when combined with the mission and vision statements, a sense of direction leading to realization of the Institute’s vision.
